One cup of I am awesome and two cups of confidence please.
Confidence is such a juicy topic that I had to do a second post about it. Confidence is the main area I deal with in my coaching practice. While I believe no-one is 100% confident, I believe we can get darn close without being over-confident (yes, over-confidence is a real thing).
Here are 5 more tips for gaining more confidence:
- Learn to be alone (Schedule “you time” on your calendar).
Do you have “me” time? I dedicated a whole month to this topic. Please read the posts here. This is such an important topic to me because if you are not comfortable with yourself who else will be?

2. Do what makes YOU happy.
Yes, you are a great cook or dancer. The million-dollar question is does cooking or dancing make you happy? If yes, carry on. If not STOP IT now. You cannot gain confidence in your life in an area you are great in, but don’t care about. Stop following what others say you should do.
Confidence comes when you are passionate about something and take the time to become great in that area.
3. Be different (Look at what others are doing and do the opposite).
Oprah Winfrey is different. Oprah quit her successful 20 year talk show to start a television network. That took courage and she also had to think differently.
To gain confidence and get what you deserve from life, you must think differently from others. Start to think outside the box. If your idea is weird to others then it may be something you may need to pursue.
4. Prepare and Study what you want to learn.
To gain confidence in any area you must study that area of interest. I recommend studying on yourself first.
Here are 3 things I suggest:
1. Pay attention to things or words that trigger certain feelings and emotions.
2. Pay attention to the people you hang around. How do you feel when you are around them?
3. Make a list of likes and dislikes and ask yourself why you feel the way you do about these things
These three questions will help you to become more self-aware and will start you on the path of building your confidence.

5. Live life and eat the cake first (Who cares about opinions of others? Just do it!
To have confidence, the opinions of others must mean very little, if nothing, to you. People will talk, and they have a right to their opinion. Remember, other’s opinions are not right or wrong. You should never argue with a person’s opinion of you; just let it be.
In order to be confident your objective in life should be to challenge yourself to see just how great you can be.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it.
Take your limits off, and go create the life you want. There is a whole world waiting for you to come out of your shell and break free. I hope you take these 10 tips over the last two weeks and apply them.
Please tell me about your process and which ones you chose to do or of if you made your own.
Keep winning and creating harmony in your life.
